Don't care how old I'll be in 2026 Balamory was my childhood and will be watching it used to come in from preschool and had my banana and jam sandwiches whilst watching lunchtime hour on the cbeebies channel glad BBC brought it back for another two seasons

Childhood restored. This show returning 20 years later might open the floodgates for other older CBeebies shows popping up again too. Imagine the revival of Brum, ZingZillas, Abney and Teal, Waybuloo, Mister Maker, the list is endless!

This was one of my favourite childhood shows growing up, I can't wait to see what they do with the new series next year, I love Archie's song Great Inventions, Groovy Solutions, possibly the best song in the whole series, but looking forward to the reboot, wow! what else can 2026 bring 😊

I wouldn’t say I’m not intrigued but Balamory was one of those shows that really didn’t stick with me. As opposed to Teletubbies, Tweenies, Bob the Builder, Postman Pat, Fireman Sam, Noddy etc. But hearing the theme again and seeing the main 8 characters did bring back memories.

It was cancelled if I remember right that they had so many episodes that they thought the viewers wouldn’t notice that their repeat episode was a repeat. Are they still showing the original if so maybe the viewers might get confused. Mixing old and new as a child was annoying as you might get used to a version of something like Teenage Hero Turtles 🐢 and then get to see another version with a different style and approaches to characters. Defo my favourite version of Turtles 🐢 was the Fred Wolf late 80’s early 90’s version.

Balamory was a great TV show when I was a kid waking up in the morning eating your breakfast and getting ready for school. Many people would say the same thing. I just hope they don’t make it bad that would be horrible, but we just got to wait and see but I find it still crazy. It is coming back to TV.😳

Always thought the tag line a bit sinister. i mean did they want us to know that Balamory was inhabited by Jason Voorhies or Michael Myers!. There you go British Screenwriters an idea for a Future British Made Slasher Film. i mean if Winnie The Flaming Pooh can get two and Humpty Dumpty and Jack and Jill can get one then why not. or how about The Tweenies vs The Tellytubbies as a slasher film similar to Freddy vs Jason. Who Wins id go for the Tellytubbies especially if they used Pieces of Tubby Toast to kill people. Writers out there ive laid the groundwork now finish the job and i want a credit.
