Two brothers, Jedi Knights, struggle with the temptation of the dark side during times of war. When compelled to defy the Order to save the ones they love, each brother must decide what it means to be a true Jedi.

Wow! Amazing. And I watch a lot of these, so I don't say that a lot. I appreciated why the two brothers could fight (and swap their sabers back) the way they did - they are used to each other's style, and it would be natural to work like that; expecting the other person to help you get your own saber, and not take advantage. Never doubting them. And it was, after all, 'a match - not an execution'. I was surprised to find myself on the younger one's side and not on the side of the Jedi Sentinel. Not only would I have gone to help the family, but it rankles that the term 'Jedi' came to be used synonymously with the Republic. Church and state never works, however much you believe in the message. I cannot wait for the next instalment.

What great writing for a small flick. Dove into why the jedi were seen to have lost their way. By not protecting that planet because it would cause the anger of the banking clan. Who would them leave the Republic. Is that defending the peace by allowing a whole people to be slaughtered and not lifting a finger?

I think that the concept of the “Balance of the Force” and the Grey Jedi are very interesting to Star Wars fans. Perhaps this might open up a path for canon to include them. It seems that Asoka may have become a Grey Jedi in the latest scenes from “The Book of Bobba Fett.”

Good production value. Honestly, the acting isn't really the issue. Everyone seems to gloss over pretty bad acting on the part of Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamil, even Samuel Jackson had scenes that felt like they were being read. We have a lot of nostalgia but the SW story has warts to it. Still a great idea that I can't imagine not having in pop culture. Great job!!!

Comment 1) This is clearly an old republic-type story. Dantooine still exists, Jedis are still idiotic cowards that think they're safe from the darkside by suppressing their emotions, and still see everything in shades of black and white. The Jedi and Sith refuse to admit they're anything alike, and in certain ways they're not wrong. however, there is one thing they share. They deal in absolutes. Comment 2) I really enjoyed this, because this is the only series(hopefully) I'll ever get to see the Grey Jedis outside of fanfictions and legends canon stories. Comment 3) While this fanfilm didn't have the best outfits, and the acting seemed kind of exaggerated in moments, the story was quite engaging... after the montage of "No" given by the council. I can't wait for the rest. I'm 100% going to share this to my cousin who is another fan of the Grey Jedi.
