The pots are very strong with Mana Shield. It's equivalent to a 3000 HP heal. In fact, Mana Shield is stronger with AA than a caster, because they don't consume as much mana for their big spells.

Mana shield builds are legit you just have to build a auto attack hero with it to get full value from the shield, you can get items like rainbow potion and the attack speed from spells (sacred relic) to attack faster even if you are a intelligence hero and there are items and traits that give mana but wtii was using slightly mana expansive spells and didn't have insane mana regen (moonstone with cheap low cooldown spells work great with this, like a level 1 unholy frenzy)

How about changing the "book of stats" of the "rescue match" for some sort of buff that can be transferred when the hero dies. As an example: 1. Hero A takes the improved tome of stats, gains the buff 2. Hero C kills Hero A at that point Hero C steals the buff 3. Hero B kill Hero C, stealing the buff 4. Hero B wins the rescue match, at that point the buff gets locked. The improved tome of stats can be indestructible, because being honest is pretty lame when it gets destroyed. This change will add more strategy to the "rescue match".

possibly, 850hp on 2.8 value seems to be 2380 hp but that is without armour so easier to break.

Wtii I think you could have unlearned both holy light and mirror image then you would got into mana shield and war stomp, which in my opinion is better than mirror image in this build. The mirror image and mana shield dosen't feel right to have both of them.

The thing is permanent immo is that yea its less damage but its a undispellable damage arua that requires no mana, soo you are still getting free damage especially since you can stick to the target
