The hike to Balandra Basin is an easy one that can be done by families. The Hike starts along from after parking along the road. The thirty minutes hike takes you down the mountain then up two small inclines that will give you a nice warm up for the cold water that awaits you at the end of the hike.
the area is lonely and while it is an easy hike to get there with a trail, it is advised that you go with a guide (the weekend we went two persons who did not go with a group got lost) and you go with a group of people.
