In English they’re known as Mexican Rose or Moss Rose. In Spanish it is called amor de un rato or Mañanitas, among other names. Amor de un rato is something like a short affair or short romance. Mañanitas is pretty much a morning. They only bloom during the day, by night they close or on cloudy days they don’t open either. In MX, people normally keep them in a pot up high since they tend to hang. Very easy to care for.

Se llama Amor de un Rato o Mañanitas. En algunos lugares se les conoce como bella a las once y me imagino qué ha de tener más nombres. Es una suculenta o verdolaga. Pegan muy fácil si siembras un brazito, rápido echa raiz. Son muy fáciles de cuidar y de todos los colores. En Inglés creó qué le llaman Mexican rose y solo florean cuando ay sol. Por la noche se cierran.
