BALD EAGLES catching fish 20 FEET IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!! | Bass fishing, Steilacoom Lake, Intex Raft!!

I decided to take my modded Intex Seahawk3 raft out on Steilacoom Lake yesterday and had a GREAT time. I ended up catching and releasing one small rock bass, and saw two bald eagles hunting for fish RIGHT in front of me.
One of them swooped down, and grabbed some sort of small fish right out of the water, probably no more than 20 feet in front of my raft! It was such an incredible experience to get to see!!!!!
I fished for a while afterwards, but wasn't getting any bites, so I decided to explore the lake.
I thought my battery was getting low, but learned not to test the battery's strength while the trolling motor is running (duhh), it will show low charge, but when I stopped running the motor it went back up to show almost a full charge.
I got to explore most of the lake, and it's a cool one......... Fish on the fishfinder for sure, and the lake is only a maximum of 15 - 17 ft deep from what I saw on my sonar..... The average depth of the lake seemed to be 4 - 8 ft, while even getting as shallow as 2 1/2 feet at times.
I tried to holler on the VHF radio out there, but nobody was on air.
Overall an amazing day of fishing and exploring!

Hey man great videos I’m modding my seahawk 3 and I had multiple of the same ideas you actually made so thank you for bringing the picture to my mind with that. One tip for other videos if you are using a GoPro to record the fishing footage use a wider angle it’ll show more of the boat your combo and it’ll be easier to see the fish! 🙂

it's not a gopro. It's a cheaper knock off. remali capture cam, and my phone. Go pros are too rich for this broke fisherman.

What spot did you launch from? I only know of 2 spots?!

it is the spot right by the road, you have to park on that little hill up from the ramp. That's the only spot I know of. I was close to that area when I caught the bass. Cool little lake.
