I was given the 35mm version of this back in 1980. It still works.

Ah, I wondered when you'd discover these. I have a Balda Super Baldax, and a bunch of Balda Badlix cameras. Plus a couple of Porst Hapo 66E 's ( a Baldix in disguise). They are all good 6x6 folders. All the bellows I've encountered are still light tight. There is a tendency for the mirror in the rangefinder versions to come loose as the glue has deteriorated and outgassed, this can also cause clouding of the viewfinder window. Both problems are pretty easy to fix. All the lenses are triplets, apart from the Enna Ennit 80mm f2.8 which is a 4 element Tessar design. All the triplets are excellent, the four element Enint is a bit better at the edges at larger apertures, but stopped down there's not much in it. Personally, I like the quality of the triplets better, particularly the Ennagon ( same lens as the Haponar on the Happo 66E). The Baldix you have dates from about 1951 to 1955. I would check the lens alignment to the film plane - it looks a bit off in the video. The wind on and double expose prevention takes a bit of getting used to, as I expect you've discovered.

I am so glad I found your little video on the Balda as I have one in very nice condition and didn’t realise about the Range finder as the focus on the lens barrel was what I liked and was going to run a roll through to see how it turned out, the range finder aspect I will have splay with but it’s the part that seems very loose and might need some work on, however you have enlightened me on A the camera and b the Photographers auction I live in Lyndhurst so I will look to see what else you have in your repertoire.

i just found one in pretty good condition , only faul is the rangefinder is so faint as to be useless. looking forward to running a film though it.

I have a Baldafix, inherited from a relative. Unfortunately shutter does not work properly. Will attempt to fix it and give it a go

Uneven focus on my Zeiss Nettar as well... It's a pity because the lenses are great!
