Ferragamo F Black is actually a really good fragrance. Whilst I do not care much for external validation from anyone I actually had a person come up to me in a supermarket and say to me, when I was wearing that, you look fantastic and you smell absolutely gorgeous I have had a number of similar experiences wearing F Black. Weird as its one of the cheapest I own. So I don't think its just the cost of a fragrance that's important.
@louiscarrillo66702 жыл бұрын
agreed. dont forget. its cheap because they dont do marketing for it. It was created by Chanels best master parfumer. this is a high quality that reminds me of Chanel Homme the original. if you smell that this is a revelation. the composition is of extremely high quality. so its only cheaper now because its been around for so long. great house and this has staying power.

And now you got me buying cologne for the first time in years too with this channel. 😄 Seriously though, I just got a bottle of jazz club. Based on your recent video. And that stuff is really nice. Smells great. And it's subtle. People aren't smelling it from 20 feet away. The fact you can tell most people who are wearing cologne from a mile away was what has kept me from ever using it. I love how Teddy tries to sell Burberry Touch as another safe option whereas Courtney is just straight out nope at the first whiff. She then goes on to be accommodating to the fragrance, as to not disparage its fans, but its fate remains as sealed as it ever was. I like vetiver, Courtney so obviously does not. It's such a good reminder that different people have different tastes and most people won't ever make much of a big fuss about it. They just try to distance themselves. Like how Courtney places the tester strip on the table, as far away as possible, right after saying nope.

@lazar21752 жыл бұрын
You're probably going nose blind to it, but EDP is way better if you can get it. Opening is a bit more pleasant, lasts a lot longer than EDT. For me, the EDT lasts 5-6 hours but EDP is still there after 8+ hours. Also, try letting your EDT macerate. Use it a bit to let some air in, then leave it in a dark place for a 3-4 weeks. The performance and smell should improve. The performance also depends on the skin, perfumes typically perform worse on dry skin.

Also, several of the frequencies that you tried are very different in the opening and in the dry down. In some of your blind group videos, you have a fresh strip and a dry down strip. I think if you use that format for videos like this it would be more helpful to your viewers. This isn't just you, I'd say 80% of the fragrance reviews that I read are of people smelling a strip that's just been sprayed, and it doesn't really convey the fragrance as a whole, since most of the duration is spent during Dryden

I agree with your statistics on how majority of people don't wear fragrance. So if you wear one then you are in the top ten...however I will also say that is a very broad and generic statistic. If you are in New York city, in a club on a Saturday night then I would imagine there will be a much larger percentage of people wearing a fragrance. Any city is going to have a much larger percentage of people wearing a fragrance compared to middle American rural areas. Percentage of people wearing a fragrance is largely based on time, place and age range.
