Fantastic result mate. You deserve it! I’ve been self employed as a builder since I was 18, now 54. I’ve had my house broken into while we was asleep back in 2005 and the scum got my keys to my van and drove off with it! No van and tools till the van was found 3 weeks later empty. I know exactly how you felt bud. It’s a horrible gutting feeling. Keep your chin up my man and crack on. Xx

i have had my van done twice which added to me me having to bankrupt every thing and start again you guys are legends i bet his life changed in a blink of an eye when he saw that i have two kids myself life is hard when this happens its like being sacked if you where employed but worse not only have you been sacked you have to pay for it i still am borrowing tools to this day but up you lads for doing this legends x

Congrats mate. Hope everything starts looking up. My neighbour had his van broken in to. About £3k temporarily lost. Saw them up for sale on FB. All his were “identifiable”. I posed as a buyer. Four of us went and collected them 😁. Some crack head and his mate looking for a quick quid in Dagenham.

If your in constuction none of your tools, boots, coats are safe .know someone that came out of b n q their van was being robbed.He phoned the police, told them the theft was in progress and the theives rego, police didnt want to know and gave him a crime number.most of these tools get resold at local car boot sale.we all no whos taking them.

First time i had my tools stolen was about 12k in total , no insurance cover as it was on a job away from home and the police didn't even come out just gave me a crime reference number . Had to take a low paying job with tools supplied for 6 months to get back on my feet and buy new tools . Second time was at my home address around 20k this time but insurance paid out , again the police never even showed up just a crime reference number and an offer of victims counselling... The police and government really dont care about tool theft at all

A mobile agricultural mechanic here I had the same happen to me so I decided it was war I got some 12v magnetic door switches and wired them to twin Air horns under the bonnet of my van when the door is even slightly moved the air horns go off they tried again about a year later they ran off down the drive with a literal trail of shit coming out of there trouser legs I've never seen criminals run off so fast like little kids lol oh it was pure comedy id highly recommend doing what I did £70 quid for the air horns and compressor off Amazon big chrome ones that come with the wiring and relay then the door switches were about £15 quid and another 20 quid on some wire to wire it all together just over £100 quid it's the loudest Alarm you'll ever here it not only wakes you in the night but all the neighbours as well😂😂😂😂😂😂.
