I want to thank you Baldemort for keeping my love for sci fi alive. I have known about Warhammer and the existence of it's massive universe since i was in high school. Over the last 6 years I have watched the death of Star Wars, Star Trek and many other sci fi universes be watered down or just slowly die because the people that run them have agendas they wish to force on the fans. I discovered you through a suggested video because I had been listening to lore vids from Leutin09. So because of him, your excellent voice acting and amazing videos on the lore, I have made the decision to get into this universe. I don't know if I could afford to play the table top game but I do plan to play some of the PC games. I always loved Star Wars space battles so I'll probably play Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 first. The moment you realize that the Silent King is one of the few characters in the lore that reappeared on the galactic playground for fairly good aligned reasons. Sure that there are a lot of darker reasons that can be rightly asserted as to why it is self-serving, or in some ways evil, but as it stands the primary reason he even came back into the foray was because he knew that if he did not return the entire galaxy would be overrun by ravenous space bugs. That is noble. How interesting, and telling of the setting that a soulless, ancient leader of a dead race is the one that stops in his tracks and goes, "Nah, this is bad for everything. I have to stop it, even if I have to do it myself."

You can see why I actually dodge some of the books and sit in my happy codex place. Then I fill int eh gaps, then I can view them the way I want. Sometimes the books actually spoil it for me too. Sigh. A shame. Its a guide only. So people can dig in to those details when they want. But for me? Sometimes I prefer my view of the grimdark better than theirs. I try to keep factual, but I;m not perfect. Hope you get my meaning there bother Diarmunhnd. :)

I truly do think, that GW have no idea of just how absurdly OP, they have made the Necrons in the lore. On top of being Chaos and Warp near-immune, having bodies the Tyranids can't eat, having by far the best Tech and superior weapons, and living forever, They are now closing the Warp, preventing almost every other Race form faster the light travel, deleting psykers and closing Chaos down. And now with the SK back, they can unify again. Only the orc's have the necessary traits/tech to fight them!

Well, if Warhammer Fantasy is anything to go by, eventually GW will realize they have made the faction too strong to challenge with literally anything else in the setting, so they'll drop a moon on them and kill everyone off offscreen, so to speak. Kind of ironic that the best tactical move for the organic life of the Galaxy seems to be to let the Necrons lead a coalition force to stop the Tyranids and then immediately backstab the Necrons, recent saviours of the galaxy, by attempting to wipe them out while they're still too weak to think "Now about that giant Empire we had...".

I LOVE the Necrons. Their tech is so advanced they can tell the laws of physics to shut up and stand in the corner. It's also fascinating to me that the Tyranids give them WIDE berth. Even when their Tomb Worlds support life the Hive Fleets stay away. When the Hivemind encountered Daemons for the first time it reacted to the presence of another super predator and went all in. Daemons don't bother the Hivemind, Necrons do, that should tell you all you need to know.
