Oh I loved this! As someone in their late 50's, an oldtaku , it was refreshing to see an older person end up in an isekai and use their life experience and wisdom to their benefit, making it more easy to navigate the world they've been thrown into.

Love how even when he's trying to act toxic, his wholesomeness as a dad always ends up shining through. Also didn't realize how good he would be at aura powerfarming. This is definitively peak comedy and I'm so happy it got made by people who put real work into it :)

That's what I think is most refreshing about this anime. 1) The main character isn't some arrogant d-bag who's there to perv on women. He's generally a nice guy and loving father. 2) I love that this guy isn't here chasing skirts. He's got a wife and daughter that he obviously loves very much. I know that the other characters are interested but that was not his intention. 3) The male love interests aren't jerks who exist for our protagonist to tear down, they are just nice guys for the most part.

Additional context for the three girls in the cafeteria getting corrected: for some reason the subs didn't translate it directly, but they're all the daughters of counts, which in most hierarchies of nobility are at or near the bottom (usually above barons), so seeing the daughter of the second most powerful family in the country acting more humbly than they were put some extra stank on the lesson of "you're not too good to get your own food."

actually while its not about being mean, villainess by itself thinks herself a heroine usually however her way of doing things makes her villainous since she's mean and self serving. In Truest sense this is the way a villainess should be, If the villainess is kind hearted and graceful she'd be way more attractive than a MC who has nothing not his name. Usually its always the villainess who have all the money, great birth, great resources and probably even engaged to the crown prince or whoever is the top dog of the reverse harem but she often loses everything because she goes onto poking the hornet's nest and destroying her own life by poking MC unneccesarily. In that sense, Villainess truly befriending MC is a big cheat which removes all obstacles in her path. Ojisan has found a great cheat strat to clear the game while putting all the characters in her harem and even the girls cant resist. This is the true power of money, grace and soft skills held by a powerful noble one.
