The bees may be looking for water. Setting out some in a shallow plate a distance away along with sugar water mt lure them away from you. I set my Jackery behind the solar panel. Helps keep it shaded and helps support the panel from the wind. That gum transplant doesn't sunrise much fun. And don't sell yourself short in the beauty department!

We have a charger with an air compressor for pumping tires and jumping the car battery when we forget to turn off the headlights. We’ve used it once to watch movies when it was too cold for stargazing. We’d like to have something like this BALDR that charges with solar, and can run the laptop, charge the phones and keep the other charger for emergencies only. Great, informative review! I’m going to watch this a bunch more times and LEARN SO MUCH SO QUICKLY! I too resent having to join a user group to learn what should be clearly explained in a Manual.

Not to be a know it all, but having practiced dentistry for years as well as having performed the procedure, it is called a graft, specifically an autograph in your case. Generally most of the post operative pain comes from the location of the graft tissue removal. There are techniques that minimize the pain compared to the traditional type of graft harvesting. I hope you got the new and improved technique. Happy healing. It is so good to see you again.

When I was in Ehrenberg a couple of years ago my RV got swarmed by bees. I was afraid they were trying to take over, then I realized they were just there for the water that had spilled into my water bay on the side of the rig, and weren't trying to set up a new colony

Hi Bex! I had that gum graft surgery 26 years ago! Two uppers and one lower....most painful experience ever, especially when the roof of my mouth was healing since that's where the grafts came from. The dentist said now a days it doesn't have to be so bad since there's the option of using donor grafts. Your mouth will feel better soon!
@blakesleyk.71663 жыл бұрын
Same. Also a couple decades ago. I’d had natural childbirth 30 yrs back. Nothing prepared me for gum graft pain! Total sadistic grift. Due to immense failure of this “procedure” every reputable dentist will no longer “perform.” Prior to your surgery, did your dentist liken it to having “pizza burn?” Haha. Mengala!
@katz29123 жыл бұрын
@@blakesleyk.7166 Lol! Now that you mention it, yes the dentist did describe the pain would be similar to a pizza burn! I remember tears after the freezing and pain killers wore off! This is the only pain I would compare a close second to childbirth, but that even went away after the baby was born! Never again!! Cheers!
@williambranham62493 жыл бұрын
I've never had the surgery but I have performed it. Yes when the underlying tissue is left exposed after donor tissue is removed in the traditional technique, it is the equivalent of asphalt or road rash. There is a difference in that a clot does not form to protect the site, like say on an arm. Plus we have to eat, right? A protective acrylic splint is often made for the palate to offer some protection. However, as you commented, there are also donor grafts. My preference is to use tissue from the patient. This removes the risk(however small) of using someone else's tissue. There is a technique where an incision is made in the palate and donor tissue is removed from beneath the surface layer and above the bony palate. I would compare this to removing a slice of cheese from a sandwich leaving the two slices of bread intact.. The incision is sutured and healing is quick. No child birth for me thank you.

Just a note on yellow jacket insects, if you put out several shallow dishes, or jar caps with a small amount of water and sugar, honey, jam or juice, the yellow jackets will go there and not be apt to bother you. They are very hungry with no flowers to get nectar. And they eat many larval insect pests. Best wishes to you with the transplant and with everything you do. I love watching your posts, from Ottawa Ontario Canada.

I have taken a plain brown paper bag and scrunched it up around an old wire hanger so it looks like a hornet's nest to discourage wasps from building around my front porch. You might try it for yourself and see if it helps with your situation. The nice thing about wrapping the brown paper around a hanger is you can easily hang it up and move it when need be.

Here in Louisiana it`s hurricanes and other storms I`ve had to prep for. I`ve been buying power stations and solar panels to run a small freezer, fridge, and my WIFI. I use little power banks for USB fans and lights and charge them with smaller folding solar panels you can find very inexpensive on Amazon if you search for them and set the price on the left to "Under $25." The folding panels can directly power a USB fan during Summer power outages. You can get USB extension cables if you want the fan inside or in a shady spot.
