An explanation of the betting terms: 0:55 "a G" - the bet is $1,000 "straight best ball" - you only count the strokes of the best ball on the team "when you're closed out you can press for half" - if you've lost the game before the last hole, you can concede the bet and start a new bet for half of the original bet for the remaining holes "if you shoot 28 best ball, it's double" - if your team has fewer than 28 strokes on the 9 holes (using the best stroke count on each hole), the bet is doubled 12:41 Phil let's Bryson pick up his ball (basically it's assumed he's going to make it, so he doesn't have to shoot it, though usually reserved for "gimme" putts; on this hole, this gives him par), which prevents Anirban from getting an extra read on the green since he's shooting for birdy.

@@willmckelvain66 , yes, there are other content creators that talk through the shots a bit. But the way these guys do it is very different. It really shows how deeply the understand their own game. What’s terrific to hear between them is how they each have their own method of calculating distance by some form of regulating percentage or mental clock dial design on the swing path. It’s not only really cool, it also shows just how much time and intention they commit to designing their own perfect system. Again, Bryson would do VERY well to keep this sort of off the cuff matches with other tour pros for content. I’m sure all we golf enthusiasts would suck it right up. Wow! That was awesome! I love how Phil gives us commentary on each shot on what the ball is gonna do and where and why. To be able to shape each shot as well as these guys do is why they are so successful in tournaments. I wish I had half the talent these guys have. Bryson, excellent video. First, Congrats on the 58! Love to hear you talk club tech and talk through your shots. And Phil is always awesome with his commentary! It is very informative to hear you (Pros) think through the type of shots you want to hit. Love it! Please do more. Perhaps against The Majesticks, Westwood and Poulter. They have done videos with Rick Shiels and they are great talking on camera. would be fun to watch.

Brilliant stuff. A lot of really terrific golf. Love the shot analysis, insights and banter and it's nice ot see pros in a relaxed, fun but competitive setting. Phil's ball striking is so pure - you can see why he's won 6 majors. And watching Bryon hit the ball into different time zones is always fun. Anirban/Cameron played some great shots.

In agreement re: head to head team matches. eg 6 matches on one weekend on one course...Or 6 matches at 6 different courses during one weekend...Ideally one home and away match for per season for each team match-up...14 stroke play events is too much...

You are to commended. There were very few pro golfer Chanel’s. It added to the myth that pro golfers are super humans. Other than your expertise, like all other experts in their field, we all put our pants on one leg at a time. It goes a long way to make the game and all golfers more relatable to pros. Keep up the great work and encourage pros in other counties around the world to do same.
