What's wrong with Rankins.??????? He has been ill with a virus for over 3 weeks. What is the virus???? So many options. I understand he has been very underwhelming this year but I can not understand why no media guys are explaining what is going on. It's starting to feel like he just didn't want to play (playing hooky) . Is this what Joey Burrow was referring to??? Get us the answers Paul and Jay.

Rankins has had only one good season. And it was a while ago, like, in 2018. He's not a good player, nor has he ever been. His signing was baffling.

Rank getting easy money from Bengals...he knew / the Texans knew he has nothing left in the tank

Yep. That’s what you get when you go bargain shopping. He’s like an apple that looks good on the outside but then has a worm in it.

Why does nobody talk about the fact that in court, the NFL has repeatedly positioned itself as sports entertainment. Its in the same "legal" category as WWF wrestling.
@berns41466 күн бұрын
Exactly. You can not know if what you're watching is genuine. There's not been a game in the NFL that you don't question the outcome. As for media,they aren't going to bring questions undermining the product.

Stone is the most perplexing. There was no reason to believe that he wouldn’t be a solid addition based on prior years performance. It literally looks like he’s never played the position before.

with what Zac said and HC has a lot of responsibility for Defense is why i don’t think he should be calling plays on offense…. it’s too much to dial in on and it shows

Lous a good dc when he’s coaching good players. We don’t have good players. He hasn’t developed anyone and these players look lost on the field. It’s time to move on.
@AnthonyMancuso-pt4ru7 күн бұрын
Great job with the Lou eulogy. We didn't know him after 4 others said no thanks...we learned to love him...didn't want him to go...now we want him gone and it's gonna happen. Be ready for Rob Livingston James Bettcher or maybe Matt Euberflus-Robert Saleh trying to coach up this talent deprived crew

Is such a bummer for Lou, he told us in 2022 losing Bell and Bates then would hurt. Not having Bell in ‘23 for Dax probably didn’t help even if they didn’t keep bates. It’s on him and his staff to develop young players. But losing the guys he said he couldn’t lose really created the beginning of the end

I've been a fan since 1983. I'm tired of coaches being the scapegoats for poor front office/ownership. The coaches change, the song remains the same.

Its not a tough spot. Its only tough because its the Bengals and you know they will not do everything possible to win.

The last first round cb we claimed ala Forbes....ran out on the field in street clothes after a pick in SB56 costing us field position and possibly control of that game. Sure wanted Vernon Hargreaves too at the time but this Forbes must have some fatal flaws

Obviously you want to keep Hendrickson and Wilson. But yeah, many others should be released with the saved money spent elsewhere. Rankins, Stone, Bell and Pratt…bye bye. I’d go so far as to cut Myles Murphy as well. It’s pretty much never that a guy turns into something after 2-3 years of nothing. There always flashes early for those that are going to be real players in the league.
@Tyranden216 күн бұрын
Myles has had many flashes. It’s not his fault Lou refuses to play younger guys. He’s awful at developing them. Myles had a 33% pressure rate against Lamar Jackson. In that same game, Trey only had 19% pressure rate. Myles, and other rookies, need more snaps

Fire Lou and then they have an excuse to keep these bad players next season by saying the new coach will make them better. The fans will believe it because that's what Bengals fans do. The players will still suck and we'll be having the same conversation next season.

Guys youve all been around a while. Does Cade York for Money Mac bring back any memories of Clint Stitser or Aaron pettway for Mike Nugent? What about Ian Sunter Sandro Vittiello or Jim Gallery. That's how pathetic its become 😢
