Baldur's Gate 3 BEST ARROWS TIER LIST

In this video I will be ranking the Best Arrows in Baldur's Gate 3 on a Tier List. This is a pretty interesting list because some of these arrows are extremely useful and can be built around in the case of the arrow of many targets. Some of them have a bit more of a benefit than others, and some of them look good on paper, but aren't actually that good. I'll be ranking all the arrows and talking about some of them that I didn't include in this list because there's a ton of arrows of slaying, but I didnt need to have that many on this list. Arrow of Roaring Thunder can come in pretty clutch in some fights if you're able to knock enemies to their death, but the best use is against Orin. You can target the ground near the cultists (who have sanctuary) to knock them off the platform and stop the ritual restoring Orin's unstoppable charges in the first round of combat. It's a DC12 strength saving throw, which a lot of non-melee enemies in the game will fail.

Oooo thats a cool usage against Orin! That’s exactly why I was asking if anyone had any unique uses for it because anytime I used the roaring thunder it was just a wet fart, totally sucked. Thanks for sharing that!

Honestly surprised it's not S or at the very least A tier cuz of this. There's a pretty good chance they succeed the saving throw but if they dont it's death by chasm. If it manages to push it kills anything and even ignores sanctuary and death ward cuz they just fall off the map

@@hunterx608 I usually have an eldritch blaster, thunder wave and sometimes battle master fighter pushing attack for the chasm attacks! But I might’ve just been harsh to this arrow since I always found people succeeded on the save

I use it for beating the hag in act one stealth in and pelt her with roaring thunder to yeet her into the void

Arrows of Teleportation are the most broken in the game if you either want to speedrun, or not play the game at all. Their main value is in cheesing and exploiting towers to skip fights, important moments etc, like you can teleport to the roof of Ketherics tower with the right angle, the counting-house in act 3 etc.

Does it work better than Misty step? Which is an incredibly useful spell which is why I have the arrows of teleportation so high

@@JasonDunna Martial Characters can use it to teleport multiple times per round (once per attack). We never bought these arrows to, we only stole. And we had like 100+ of these lying aorund. We could've just stopped using movement and only moved via these arrows in the end lol they are the best

Imo the interference arrow is not that useful because i'd rather just do dmg to try and break concentration like the fire arrow which technically has 2 chances to break concentration with the impact dmg and surface dmg. Also the silence is only 1 turn so it really only stops spell reactions like counterspell since the silence ends at the start of the target's turn I tried using it to stop karniss's sanctuary for example but the silence goes away at the start of his turn

Yeah you make a good point! If you really need a concentration broke and you only have your rogue available to move, being able to give them arrows to attack with is useful in those situations but damage also works!

Roaring Thunder Arrows helped me during the Orin fight. Killed the sanctuary enemies easily

Roaring thunder I use to distance my archer if the enemy got too close lol

Okay hot take. Arcane Interference arrows are D. I value thunder damage quite a bit. I usually have someone with phalar aluve and ALWAYS have someone with the boots of stormy clamour. A silenced target cant take thunder damage and the arrow itself does less damage. Dealing damage also might break the concentration, so does killing the enemy. But to be fair it does its job and its a very situational one at that. Its hard for me to justify that arrow over othe roptions. Illmater arrows belong in S tier. They apply the titanstring bow bonus twice, so in act 1 with hill giant its actually +10 instead of +5 on top of the bonus damage. Granted they will fall off when you get specialized arrows or arrow of many targets. Lightning arrow belong in F because ice arrows are better. Also would you rather have a scroll of lightning bolt or a lightning arrow if they were wet. How often has anybody asked themselves, "Gee, I sure wish I had a lightning arrow" Thunder arrows belong in D, I have used them to knock kith'rak therrezin's wolves off the bridge. Situational and they sometime can be saved against, not F but really close. Not really any F tier arrows, none are really worse than a standard range attack.

Yeah I agree with that, I’m usually one to want to kill the target vs silence but in certain situations it can be useful. But you’re right! Illmater being so common early on and adding double titanstring bonus makes it S tier for act 1 No one has ever said “gee I wish I had a lightning arrow” 😂😂 I put that one in the F tier since I always try to include one in each tier to keep it balanced but you’re right special arrows are usually better than normal

Those arrows of Ilmatar come in super handy fighting those aggravating woads and mephits in the swamp

My favorite class is still Fighter Archer with str and dex maxed with TitanString Bow 🤘

Titanstring bow with strength potions is so good! Try out menacing attack, the frightened status is really useful!
