Pro tip for selling stuff, get a pouch/chest/backpack put everything you want to sell inside it ( i do this in my inventory over time) then when you want to sell just drag the chest to the sell window and it will he worth all the items inside

9:23 that's not how those gloves work. You set Bane on the enemy if you accept the Absolute's Brand from the goblin priestess. Otherwise, YOU get the Bane debuff.

Just trow the potion on the character that needs healing and if u put your hole party next to each other everyone gets potion splashed on them and gets healed

Side note on sending stuff to camp, CTRL + LMB = multiselecting, then once you've selected all the items you wanna send you just do the same thing.. right click and send to camp

Pro tip within a pro tip; click on the left most junk in your inventory, scroll down to find the last item in inventory, hold Shift + LMB on the last item. CRTL + LMB to undo the items you want to keep in your inventory and then do the rest.

FYI, you can transfer items in the midst of battle and use the item. So if a character needs health potions, just hit "tab" and transfer some over.. in case you forgot to move some before a battle.

Tip with Shadowheart, her Disguise self spell alters her height letting her go into small holes like where the Tiefling pickpocket runs off to in the Druid Grove. Just disguise as a Gnome and you can walk right in

Strategy for defeating the Commander in the Nautiloid: Cast Shield of Faith on the Mindflayer with either Shadowheart or your own character if you are a Cleric, then cast Command with Shadowheart/Cleric/Warlock to make him drop his Everburn Blade. Pick it up with Laezel before he can pick it back up and equip it. Then gang up on him. Once he dies, bum rush to activate the teleport thing bc you are not gonna be able to beat the mindflayer before he kills you, nor the two cambions that show up.

@@barrybrindle6959 no prob! If you can, try to get an initiative roll where Laezel can get into melee with the Commander before you use Command to make him drop it. Highly recommend using jump to sort of boost her movement for the turn (move 5.9m, jump, then dash to get into melee fast. Have your character and Us deal with the trash mobs, as well as Shadowheart after using her spells to Shield of Faith the mindflayer and Command the commander.

I just tried this and couldn't get it to work as the Cleric didn't have Command. I think the issue is she doesn't have Command on her bar by default so I just gave up and killed him for the sword.

There's a really good sword you can get in the prologue. Spoiler alert, but when you are fighting the mindflare and the devil general, I forgot his name, you can have shadow heart use command to have him drop his sword. Its a great sword with an extra d6 of fire damage so 3d6s total. Also if you can kill him you will be at lvl 2 when you land on the beach.

No, you don't need to kill the devil general to become lvl2 when dropping at beach. I just started it today and I reached the command at helm while he was chasing me he had like 30 hp so he didn't die from me, yet MC still became lvl2 alongside shadowheart.

I had gale be my scroll mule, and his inventory was full to the brim with scrolls of varying levels I didn't use lmao. Even finished the game with at least 20k worth of scrolls I bought before the final fight that just weren't used (Although I did use at least 10k worth fighting through to the boss and on the boss,)

There's some incorrect info here. The weapon damage range is incorrect because you're taking your personal modifier into the equation. Also during combat you can press tab and move potions or just straight up drink a potion as gale from Tavs inventory 20 feet away

If memory serves, he has a staff that lets you create water for free. Water makes enemies in that area get the 'Wet' status effect, and that effect DOUBLES all lightning and frost damage they receive. Do with that info as you will, lads!

On my barb berserker I got gloves from the grove trader that adds dmg to your throws then from the goblin camp trader I got a pike “big spear” that returns to you when you throw it so now when I’m in frenzy I can use my regular attack the use my bonus frenzy throw to attack 2 times per turn and it’s pretty much kills everything in just one turn. 😂

As someone who plays a Monk. I'm thinking of going party with MC, Karlach, Gale/Wyll and Shadowheart. At least thus far to cover most of the ability scores. MC for Wisdom, Karlack for Strength, Gale for Intelligence and Wyll for Charisma, and lastly Shadowheart as the healer. Though that's just knowing the origin characters that we have.

I'm sure a lot of people already know this but just in case, for the everburn blade on the nautiloid, if you switch shadowheart to have the command spell prepared you can have her command the devil to drop it's weapon and then you can just run up and pick it up without having to defeat the demon and the other 2 that run into the fight later

In my opinion Its better to save stuff because its saved me from a lot of sticky situation when I have to open the door and the doe is barricaded with rocks If I used my smoke bombs then i would take more time to find them and I was only having 1 thankfully I picked up a gunpower barrel just in case I will use it in the future guess what it helped me a lot when I needed it

I'm a great grandmother who was recently turned on to BG3. (I don't normally play video games, just 5 decades playing Table-Top pen-n-paper RPGs.) Can someone who knows, tell me the best way to get higher level items to 1st level characters pretty please? Ie Creating Twinks for all the Player characters in the party (4). For example, is it possible to give all the items to a 1st level character, who disbands from the group and then......creates a multi-player game using the party system, gives all the characters the items higher level character's obtained, and now the party starts off on quests and stuff? Or What ? Thank you genuinely for any help/knowledge that is shared. My experience thus far is that the BG3 community is very helpful, very positive, generously sharing knowledge. I try and pass it on, pass it forward, as I love helping others. It's just currently, in relation to BG3, I'm as dumb as a bag of hammers......(well.....ok, not just in relation to BG3......lol.) .

You know,... you can actually drink a potion with a character who doesn't have one. Just hit tab, go to party inventory window, "Drink" potion from whatever party member has 1.

You don't even need to transfer potions or any consumables to other companions for them to use them mid fight. I keep all my health potions on one character to minimize my inventories. If you want to have a potion on a character's action wheel then yes, you would want to have that potion in their inventory, but if you don't mind just opening up the character sheet on going to the inventory page to look at everyone's inventory, you can just consume the potion right out of another character's inventory. I believe the same thing goes for items that you can throw :)

6:01 also some enemies are strong against non-magical slashing/piercing/bludgeoning damage and having just a plain +1 weapon means you’re doing magical slashing/piercing/bludgeoning damage and bypassing that resistance

I recommend on the nautiloid to try kill both the demon and the mindflayer, its not too difficult if you use command spell and the 4 exploding tanks you pick up on the way. If you succeed you get 150xp rather than just 75xp for the demon

The damage ranges on weapons include all damage modifiers like str dex etc. So it will not show the same for everyone. It would be more accurate to provide their base damage rolls like ex: 2d6 +1

Best weapon for Karach early is from the paladin she asks you to kill. It's +1 which the ever burn isn't and you can oil it. Plus you can cast tyrs blessing for 2AC at least until you rage. The heavy axe in blighted grove is also 9lbs which is a lot if you're looting all the goblin scimitar and stuff

Hiding gives you the ability to sneak attack due to advantage. Light and line of sight affects your ability to hide. The shadows are your friend as a rogue, so douse those lights. Get behind something big and solid while hidden (pillar, door jam, etc), then take a few steps out of concealment, attack from range, get back behind concealment again with the rest of your move action, and use your bonus action to hide. Rinse and repeat until they find you.

Holding shift will show you everyones cone of view. Run out of it, use your bonus attack version of sneak (the blue one you get at lvl 2) then use sneak attack. Rinse, repeat.

It's an important distinction because the way you've written it could lead people to think they have a greater chance to hit with the Rogue, or other characters because they have advantage, in reality, having another party member within melee range does not grant advantage, it simply removes the requirement for the Rogue to have advantage to use Sneak Attack.

Hey guys, no idea if this gets seen but I wanted to voice my concerns for this channel. First and foremost: I love you guys and I wish you every bit of success! On the other hand I sadly lost intrest in most of your content, started watching you back then with World because I really felt your passion for the games you played. There was educational content, fun and interesting build ideas with the occasional optimization and deep dives into the lore and design of games. I don't really see that anymore. Especially with the recent games you jumped on, it feels like everything is just "get op early, minmaxmeta, don't ruin your save" content. Which I feel is detrimental to experiences more often than not. Of course you do you and I hope the content you put out is still what you are passionate and excited about! At the moment it's just not for me, which it doesn't have to be, but it's also not how I got to know you.
