The thing that kills me, is...they might be a little TOO supportive at first, to the point of being dismissive that they have a psychopath murderer in their midst and they don't really care. Wake up to see a bard ritualistically slaughtered in your camp? Weird, but I'm sure it's no big deal! Kick a squirrel to death? Eh, we all have intrusive thoughts! Chew a man's hand off in front of us for no reason? Well...I'm sure he was annoying and would probably eat a bunch of our magic items, so no big loss for us!
