I personally think the first big hint is that Scratch was the one who was attacked. If Halsin were actually losing his mind to the corruption of the city, then why would he take it out on an animal? Just because it was close? I don't think Halsin would even consider it in a hazed out state. Maybe a different companion, but not Scratch. Also, when he says, "My mind will succumb soon after," he smiles. Halsin even slightly in control of himself, would NEVER smile at the idea of losing his mind to corruption.

I fell completely for it 💀 I just chose kind and diplomatic options because I was confused and wanted to give him a second chance. For me, I didn't have scratch, so he "killed" the girl.

Seeing Halsin like that is truly heartbreaking for me (even knowing from the beginning that it was not him) But I had such a perfect image of him in my mind! :D I'm really glad that Orin didn't choose him to abduct in my playthrough!

Dont go to the sewers, talk to gortash who’ll tell you about Orin infiltrating your camp. In about 2-5 long rests you should get your results. Don’t explore anything in the sewers until then, especially not the elf song basement where the scene normally triggers.

This scene happen the night after he confessed to my Durge and got rejection. I wonder, did Halsin actually confessed or it was Orin? Or Halsin was just sitting somewhere heartbreaking and got kidnapped 😂😂😂

Halsin was the only one that tricked me. And this was during my 5th or 6th play through. Every other one was like "nice try bitch" but this one...this one I went like "oh shit...i would have totally died if you were actually planning to kill me."

if you reject child and kill Laezel or if she leave you, Orin will take Halsin.

I think it’s random. For me was LaeZel because I had her in the camp and she wasn’t on my party. Orin showed up disguised as LaeZel in the sewers. Also the little girl disappeared as well. Not sure if she was abducted or if she was Orin infiltrating my camp (no spoilers). Will find out today or tomorrow.

I hate Halsin but I actually love this scene specifically, the parallels between Sylvanus and a deity as dark and evil as Bhaal when Orin mentions "the last god who will ever be knelt before" makes it such an interesting line because it makes you wonder which one she means. More of this throughout the game would've made Halsin actually interesting to check up on and get to know, Malfurion Stormrage is probably the best druid character for me but hes from a different IP

This is especially heart breaking if you romance him because you being by his side, helps him realize the city isn't the problem. It's the higher ups refusing to help those they deem unworthy of it. Like how immigrants are turned away even with proper papers by racist border patrol. Not to bring too much irl bs into ut. But halsin sees that and you help him see that he can help balance Baldurs Gate, or help those in it by taking them to the restored lands of Thaniel. His romance is SOOOOO WHOELSOME. EVEN WHEN HE LEAVES HES LIKE ' I'd rather not but the children need me. I'll wait for you at my new grove" it's amazing

She can't take Halsin if you are in romance with him, I have try everythings for Halsin to get abduct but impossible, Yenna would always been taking aways by Orin. I broke up with Halsin for confirmed my theory and then he get abduct.

If you asking the exact color, Im not sure, sorry😔 But when u open the option call "all skins colors", I remember those fire-like eyes colors are at the bottom of the list. Their names probably are fire or flame, something like that. Not really good at English, I wish these can help u.
