Fantastic love theme. It's so tragically romantic. Because whoever your Tav ships, it's a struggle fighting to piece your companion whole again. For me, it was heart wrenching trying to convince Gale that he is worthy of living and after, worthy of love just as he is. A mortal. "I love you for the man you are. Not the god you'd pretend to be" "You put the stars to shame" 😭😭😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️

Everyone thinks of Astarion with this song, but for me its Shadowheart. All the moments when she opens up to the player and makes herself vulnerable because she trusts you, this song seems to play. The melody really fits as Shadowheart tells you of her suffering and pain…

@Chokoboh Жыл бұрын
@@styx971 Well, no. Astarion is never sorry for any wrong things he does. He may be charming, but he's still evil at heart. He literally kills you by biting and no matter what you do, you won't get a heartfelt apologize from him, just some hollow phrases is the best he can manage if you force it. Shadowheart on the other hand is tainted by Shars teachings, but she wants to do the good thing. On the surface maybe similar to you, but fundamentally different in fact.

I mean this in the best and most complimentary possible way: This is such a perfect successor to the old Baldur's Gate musical style, giving me the same feeling as exploring the Cloakwood or the Sword Coast. Larian is truly taking pains to find just the right talent to make it live again, because I hear this and I feel like my childhood just grew up.

I like your music very much. The DOS2 OST is still one of my favourite fantasy soundtracks proudly sitting next to Witcher 3 OST. I grew up with BG and BG2 and these games basically formed me as a person who enjoys the fantasy genre and still, even almost two decades later, I can still feel the vibes and old memories. And that's the reason I was quite nervous about BG3 OST because for me music is a huge part of the whole experience (I'm very sensitive in this regard) and I must say, Mr Slavov, you did a hell of a good job. To put it more vaguely but also easier to understand - your music has a soul. It's easily recognizable and I feel like I want to be in that fantasy world for a little more time every time I listen to it. I'm looking forward to seeing the BG3 OST on Spotify!

You manage to do this; you touch my heart and soul- every press at the keys of the piano feels refreshing. The vocals so soothing, and the violins feel so melancholic, to name a few instruments of course. I can picture myself staring at the open, starry sky whilst listening to this. Reminds me of home, when I visited my family's farm when I was a teenager-- there, the sky was clean and clear, no artificial lights concealed the beautiful milky way. Everything here simply melds together so well. Thank you for these feelings and memories.
