It's still always rather satisfying to pass all the dialogue checks to defeat the various Thorms in the Shadow-Touched Lands.

He is nothing if not genuine to his purpose, to his dedication.

In my first playthrough I convinced him to order his nurses to kill him. Almost as satisfying as when my Shadowheart convinced Yurgil to tell his mercenaries to kill each other, then to kill his Displacer Beast, and then to Kill himself. I only wish I could have revealed the remaining Dark Justiciar to him after he had fallen on his sword. (That was after save scumming as the first time I encountered him it was Lae'zel who found him after being separated from the rest of the party. She did not have the wisdom or insight to convince him of anything, and did not stand a chance fighting all those foes on her own. She couldn't even escape back to where the rest of the party was.))
