In the proper Norse mythology, when Freya blessed Baldur to be invulnerable, she asked every tree, flower, animal and rock to never harm her son. But she didn't ask mistletoe, because it was so young and harmless, and eventually Loki tricks another God to kill Baldur to use an arrow laced with Mistletoe and that's how Ragnarok starts in the proper Norse mythology!

@Trubloop Gaming the writers of the game included lots of mythology lore, like Lokis parents in the proper mythology is Laufaye (Faye is Atreus mother in the game, which is "Laufaye" just shortened) And his father has no actual name I think, but he's known as "The Cruel Striker", which is pretty similar to Kratos. And Atreus/Loki happened to be semi-responsible for Baldurs death by having the mistletoe on his chest strap. So it all sorta lines up with the actual mythology! Can't wait to watch you play Ragnarok 🥰
