Nice one Richard. The highlight of the farming calendar, "The bale off awards". No expense was spared, dragging in Veronica from Sweden, at least she looked like she was dragged in, backwards through a ditch😂. Great to see a couple of awards coming to Ireland which was well represented by farmer Phil, who led the charge for a while only to be knocked off by I do Agri, who I believe has a lot to offer. Well done to everyone who took part. The Funky Farmer perpetual trophy will be the one every farmer will be aiming to walk off with from now on. Mankini! Be careful what you wish for, the monster you created may come back to devour you.

Hi Richard, I think you have started something that still has a lot of mileage in it, If next year we get back to having ''County Shows'' I think the 'Bale Wrap' machine guys could be persuaded to run Bale off challenges at each show and raise some money for charity. Two sets of three bales, two guys against each other to create something to watch, the bales get re wrapped after each go, So the Wrappers get to do demo's of their machines. Fastest from each show around the country are invited to the 'Royal show at Stonely or the last show of the year. . ( I know a lot of the Irish lads go to Stonely) they again go against each other in pairs, fastest two over the two days, 'Bale Off' . . . Loads of money in for Farmers Mental Health Support Charities around the country.😃
