Balen Shah 1st Year Marksheet || IDS Report Card

As each year passes, every school publishes report cards for each student on result day, showcasing their progress throughout the year and providing guidance for improvement in the future. In a similar vein, we have developed an idea where we create such report cards for our Mayor, Harka Sampang, and Balen Shah, as they have now completed one year in their respective mayoral posts.
To put this idea into action, we conducted a survey a few weeks ago among our audience, posing questions about them in accordance with the Local Government Operation Act of 2074. And today marks the result day for our Mayor of Kathmandu, Mr. Balendra Shah. So, let's determine his score by evaluating his capabilities through the votes cast by the public.

For the next surveys, I advise IDS to be wary of the possible bias introduced by the Karyakartaas lobbying to corrupt the scores. As influential as you guys have gotten, one cannot rule out the possibility of this happening. Now how you will introduce the correction of this bias is totally up to you.

Analysis bata satisfied Xaina. Tara pyrayas ko lagi appreciated. Kina ki online survey completely influenced from viral news on samajik sanjaal. Participants voted based on current viral content rather than performance of mayor during entire tenure. Example :- Balen any Action against India and China immediately let him able to win the trust affection and confidence of people. And people easily forgot his failures in many aspects. I do support balen but analysis report should be 40 out of 100. 84 out of 100 means we already experiencing very good days in valley and we just 16 percent behind sushasan, But in reality there is still very long way to go to achieve susashan in Kathmandu.

Only criticism I have towards Balen as a citizen of Kathmandu Metro is his lack of communication with his people. Thank you for the effort. I always look forward to IDS content. But I must point out. Since 75% of the result is dependent on public polling, Wouldn't you think that his growing popularity might have more to do with these positive numbers than his actual working methodologies and the results his policies have managed to fetch? This criteria alone can make the result very biased since public opinion is not always entirely based on careful analysis. Also, since the polling was done online, it is very easy to presume that most of the participants were those who are active on social platforms, which might not paint the entire picture of Kathmandu residents. A more thorough research would have included a person-to-person survey on businesses that his parking policies have affected, and so forth. I would have to say that I am mostly disappointed with IDS for this content. Compared to what other videos you have, this one seems to have been poorly planned out. Sorry

A distinction is great. But how do we measure it? what's the basis? To clarify, there should be something that gives the number its value. It could be used as a relative measure to previous mayors of ktm or maybe there is some legal standard that say "above 80 is very good" and trust me politics isn't NEB - which does serious lousy evaluation. Also about NEB, please do some research: Teachers earn rs.20 (approx?) for checking each copy that is deducted from the Rs.2000 (or some money we pay for appearing in exam). A person is unsatisfied with their result, and they have to pay Rs. 500 each subject for RETOTALLING (It's not even rechecking), And takes Rs.2000 for rechecking. Just what is this? Students are forced to pay rs.500 for what they deserve?

being a kathmandu native and a voter of balen. i always feel proud to have voted for him instead of sthapit. aru lai kasto lagcha tha vayena tara voters ko najar maa balen le ramro kaam gareka chan.

Although mayor Balen is doing a good job, all I have learned from Nepalese politics and politicians is to never idolize a politician or a civil worker. It's fine to appreciate them but we Nepalese tend to view politicians as gods just cause they did the bare minimum. They work for the country not the other way around.
