I live in Staten Island so I shop at the Short Hills mall for all of my luxury handbags. Usually you can get good deals in their Neiman Marcus store which carries a ton of Balenciaga too. I buy my LVs in the LV store in Neiman Marcus there as well. But I just purchased this bag in smooth leather dark gray from TJmaxx online and it came stuffed in a box that would fit gloves and no dust bag. I'm so pissed. It just came yesterday. It's so squashed. I'm definitely sending it back. It wasn't such a great deal either. Like 20% less. They have nerve to send an $1800 bag like that.

I'm the same way. I don't want to spend crazy money on a bag that will be out of style a year later OR that I will get bored of. I'm not concerned about trends, I wear what I like. But I wont buy a high end in a very light color. I'm too afraid of color transfer. If I'm doing white or cream, I try to stay in the mid range like Coach, Michael Kors or Tory Burch. I would lose my mind if I got color transfer on an LV or Balenciaga etc... and I wear blue jeans all the time. How will you keep that gorgeous cream bag clean? Or has it been easy to keep clean since you now have it for a while?

I plan to buy it in a few months but I am not exactly sure how it is strong enough or durable to cross body. I am looking for both between Neo classic top handle and mini. I have lots of stuffs to carry but I like hand free, Top handle is fit for my stuffs but looks not strong enough for cross body.
