NCAP crash test is performed at 64 Kmph. Indian Government mandates crash test for all cars at 46Kmph. It means that even all those cars with 5-star rating, travelling at 80 Kmph or 100 Kmph or 120 Kmph are not safe from crash. We have learnt about so many fancy costly cars, which could not save their occupants when met with an accident at high speed. Cyrus Mistry and his associate Jahangir died when their Mercedes-Benz met with an accident at high speed. Safety comes from safe and alert driving, not from 3-star or 5-star rating of a car.

Please help me choose between Baleno delta and Swift vxi . Is Baleno's lack of fast pick up a real problem while driving ? .I have had a real bad experience with new Ford Figo (petrol) on that score. Comparitively less ground clearance of Swift is also causing concern .

If your income is more than sufficient and you can afford low milege car and high maintenance cost then you should go for Amaze CVT because CVT is very smooth compared to any AGS car . And if you are tight on budget and don’t want to spend much on car after buying then go for baleno AGS

I own a Baleno Zeta MT 2022 . There is one issue which nobody has pointed........that is....the rearview mirror is placed bang on the windscreen which puts you in a blind spot when you look at the centre of the screen. I am 5'10, and this placement of the rearview mirror on the windscreen (& not on the roof panel above the windscreen) is bad placement. I would like to know your & owners' feedback if you are owning the new Baleno Zeta MT variant.

@@ajaypadghan2408 No issues absolutely. The vent at the rear end for the rear pax is just a blower. The AC is good with climate control in the ZETA model.

@@The_unsung With Sigma you might have to get most accessories fitted from outside market. Perhaps they might appear to be cheaper, i suggest go for the Zeta model which is about 50-60k more, but worth the money. It has a good instrument cluster, infomatics, ABD, 6 air bsgs, power windows,....many worth things which are not covered in most other brands at this price. After having driven over 10k kms across Guj, MP & MH, i personally urge you to settle for Zeta rather than Sigma or Alpha. You will never regret the new Baleno Zeta. Happy driving bro.

I enquired about Baleno and Glanza at both showroom. Glanza doesn't have any spares. They have to wait for all the spares. A basic foglamp is not available and even they don't know when it will be available. Nexa has all the spares ready. And the attitude of the sales person at nexa was better than at Toyota. Toyota has limited service station. By any chance if the service at toyota is not good at one region we have to travel a long distance for another service station. While nexa has many services station and we can even show at normal maruthi service station in case of emergency.

I don't see this feature available in cars below 10L. Can I consider buying either Tiago/Grand I 10 Nios or should I consider purchasing Toyota Glanza / Baleno as it has hill hold control feature. iVT/CVT for city use. Have not personally experienced dct in city traffic. But have heard that it can be a bit jerky and might overheat. CVT has its own issues like rubberbanding, but should be good as long its driven in a relaxed manner.
