Good operation how do find the kuhn baler?is it 23 knives

It’s our contractors baler but yes I think it does have that many knives. Makes a good bale and chops well but the plastic wrapping mechanism isn’t the best and has broken a few times and a couple of bearings have gone on it. I think he is planning on changing back to a mchale next year

You dont have conditioner and why? With thick crop like this it could be useful. How are you happy with kuhn baler.

If we were clamp we would use conditioners but we have found to make better quality bales a Tedder gets it that bit drier

Kuhn baler makes a great bale compared to mchale and wrapping system works well

That is the most wrapped bales Ive seen in one stack !! Is it for 1 herd ?

Yes just for 1 herd! That stacks not even full yet. Usually make around 5k bales

Wrapping at the stack is the best way to do it. Bales are carted , wrapped and in the stack within around 45 mins from coming out the baler. Moving them after they’re wrapped is asking for trouble

No no deff use a fusion only problem wud be crow damage in field but you guys look smart and sharp on the handlers ud be grand
