Balfour 4wd track Tasmania-The good, the bad & the UGLY!

We're jumping back in time, to 2018 where we will take you on an adventure through Tassie. We travelled there with the 4wd chub we were with at the time & a convoy of 6..This is the first episode in a series of episodes we'll be putting together from our time in Tasmania. During this trip we were driving our mighty GU Patrol & tenting it across the State.
In this first episode we take you across Balfour track. Balfour track is one of the most challenging tracks in Tasmania. It should only ever be attempted with a lifted 4wd, full recovery gear including winch & snorkel & should NEVER be attempted alone. Balfour is a track that you need to register for at the start of your journey & pay a fee to travel. Allow several hours to complete the track & take supplies in case you get stuck! Be prepared for an unhappy ending, which we very nearly experienced!! This track is NOT for the faint hearted or inexperienced!
