@@byza101 I'm from 1985 had a house in Umalas between 2014 - 2019 and really enjoyed going to Canggu for the chill vibes. Nowadays I avoid it because of the traffic. So not for generations, but during covid it became the new kuta.

You are right.. When I moved to Indonesia in 2001, Canggu had nothing. And now it's having all the trash..

I’ll admit to not been to Canggu, one and only trip was in 2001 and Canggu was not on the radar… Stay in Legian they said 😂 Not as touristy as Kuta… I never went back, too many bogans getting their thrills aggressively bargaining over $1 for a red bull t shirt. I can see why you lament what has become of Canggu.
