Winny represents Bali well. Always a smile on her face and very easy to listen to her guidance.

I remember the ghost well and knew exactly what Winny could feel. I can now feel Sabdo Palon awakening, so keep faith. Just when we thought it couldn't get any crazier, the news is that physical money is being phased out in Indonesia. You may have noticed the disappearance of ATMs across Indonesia? Well we heard from bank staff that ATMs are going to stop dispensing money and will be only available from the cashier! Inevitably this will create chaos, especially in remote rural areas like where I live in Java, so best to have a stash of money for when it happens. In terms of Bali it will mean another blow to international tourism and small businesses. The last time I was in the UK (and probably the last ever) I struggled with many simple things as I had £'s that I was unable to spend.

The world will eventually be cashless. Won't be easy for small retailers though. Hopefully it's a long way off in Bali
@TheMagicofJava Жыл бұрын
@@allisonking2942 well my comment comes from Indonesia and given that we were the first to trial digital IDs I wouldn't bet on it being a long way off.

This country is sinking like titanic nowadays
@clyde1365 Жыл бұрын
Don’t get it.. why is sinking? Just because more promote cashless?? In Holland already been couple years cashless (very very little cash transaction). Let’s be more positive thinking about our beautiful country😊🙏

Thank you for your vlogs around Bali. We honeymooned at Melia Bali 24 yrs ago and went back for a revisit for our 10th. Back again next year in March for our silver wedding staying at the Melia again. Some lovely memories and it now all inclusive -thats a result ! So interesting seeing The Bali Collection and a little sad to see it now. Is the theatre still operating? They did the most magical shows. No beach clubs for me just give me traditional dance ,culture and Kecak. Im now avidly going through your blogs to see what's changed. Will subscribe and keep posting guys. Happy travels KCC

Love Balinese dance / culture. Forget beach clubs, hahaha. Hopefully, the mall will recover.
I don't think there will ever be a "normal" again. What needs to happen is to move and adapt to the change, whilst trying to keep the integrity of Balinese culture intact. Its going to be a juggling act but this stage of post pandemic will pass. The government needs to act now to right the wrongs, to limit the expansion and catch up with the much needed infrastructure otherwise I fear strongly for the Balinese. 😮
