A little surprised when Vik asked if "Do we need to leave Tip here"? .... Well, I hope someone could give you the appropriate answer to your question. I have been living in Australia where there is no tipping system applied, but considered the services and hard working Balinese people who made extra miles to make their guests happy - I will always do Tip. Perhaps that is not the right answer for some, but few dollars tip can do so much for them.' Just my two cents.

It is not normal to leave tips there, and tbh not part of their culture. But because of the huge influx of tourists from countries with tipping system, it is becoming more and more normal to tip.

Bali is to much spensive out the prices ONLY for tourists, locals ONLY survived nota good, to much scambs, and pay extra taxes, and pay to go to the beach waterfall etc, i never see this in Portugal, Bali have the coins more down on the world but put the prices for euros, Portugal is the same prices 🤦💥😉 and better everiting, have rules, potável water, better temperature, sun Stay to 21h, Bali 18h is night, pay extra taxes to dinner ir lunch on restaurante, in Portugal nooo

Please educate yourselves about what happens when elephants in captivity are trained to perform tricks. Even for simple tricks like placing flowers on your shoulders, the elephants are beaten and tortured into submission.

Hi Alsky, we always learn about the places before we visit. This park in Bali is a very special place. It is an elephant rescue park, has many awards for nature conservation and here is a message from their website: "for the last 20 years we have been involved in the upkeep and breeding of the 27 elephants that we originally saved from government camps in Sumatra. These elephants have now successfully bred naturally to add 4 babies to our herd which showcases our commitment to both saving these endangered species, all of which would have died, had they been left in the Sumatran camps. We are fully committed to giving this herd of elephants a comfortable and happy existence for the remainder of their lives as well as educating the public to the plight faced by this endangered pachyderm, due to the devastating deforestation happening in their homeland."
