Hi Gary, Where the wise corner between sanur, Seminyak dan uluwatu,ubud to enjoy sunrise and sunset in nearest distance. Try to avoid driving a car and Moped, On foot or maybe bike rental?

Most sit in the gazebos at the end of the promonade to watch the sunset at sanur near the puri santrian. Double six beach at seminyak just sitting on the beach sometimes has beautiful sunsets.

Hi Gary really appreciating your Sanua suggestions my husband and I are coming over in August for 4 weeks (we are in our late 60's )and love staying in Sanua - may I ask you if you had to stay in Sanua which resort do you think is the best one and where would you choose? - I would appreciate your opinion - thanks 😀

I have not filmed many of the big resorts in Sanur like the grand hyatt, the andaz, the prama, the mercure, the maya and the puri santrian as it is very difficult to obtain permission to film at these places. Best street location for me in Sanur is Jalan Duyung as at one end of the street it meets Duyung beach which is home to a great collection of beachside restaurants and the other end of the street it ajoins Jalan Danu Tamblingan (main street of sanur) where you will find another great collection of restaurants and shopping options, you are also only located 300 meters (where jalan duyung ajoins jalan cemara) from Jalan Cemara & Jalan Danau poso which are great streets jalan Danu poso for bars and jalan cemara for restaurants, popular super market and a tourist shopping market next to popular. I have filmed the Swiss bel resort which is very popular has a huge swimming pool in the center of the hotel and a good main street location but this resort is not located on the beach. On the beach i have filmed at respati hotel, this is called respati hotel but is like a resort facility has beautiful tropical gardens and nice rooms. Villa pantai karang was very beautiful located on the beach. It's a very difficult question to answer because i have not covered to many resorts in Sanur. Yes only expats that live in Sanur go there, tourists don't know about that place because it is on the otherside of the bypass. Manshed is such a unique bar.
