Very accurate description of what we found to be the best place we have stayed at in Bali. Very private place with breakfast in your own villa as per your choice the night before. Not ideal for none swimming children. Friendly and attentive staff. We rebooked for 2025 before leaving. Looking forward to the Icon Shopping Centre being finally open on our next Sanur visit.

Here now (September 2023). Great accommodation. Looks smaller in video. When you head up to main road, on the corner is a great warung, Warung Beringin Pantai's. Great food and cheap.

Many thanks Drew😁. Matahari was still closed during my last visit to kuta square area, I don't personally think that any big places will be opening anytime soon in the kuta area as it is still pretty quiet around there. I love the kind of development currently taking place in sanur of all the areas of bali, the walking/bike path is complete in sanur therefore connecting all places along all the different areas of beaches and has offered local indonesian people business opportunities in the rental of both electric and manual bikes. The new international standard hospital being built in sanur will be a fabulous addition to sanur creating many jobs for indonesian people and hopefully will give international visitors more confidence to visit bali. A new modern day mall is also under construction in sanur that will offer excellent shopping & dinning facilites and will also be home to a cinema.

Hi Graham i have been to pondok Ayu this moring to request filming it was a point blank no😂. The owner is western and said to tell you if you want to view the facility to look on their website. Super unfriendly i won't be going back there😃. The Facility did look good but a little far from anything.

@@grahamhughes9250 the owner is probably ok towards guests as that is his business. I totally understand if an accommodation does not allow filming as they have no idea who i am and what i am going to say or show in a video. I just litterally walk in off the street and requeat permission to film, most places i request it does take quite a long time sometimes a few days to get permission to film.

Yes i have lived in sanur for 10 years😁 when i first moved to bali I lived in seminyak but soon moved to sanur. Almost 11 years now I am living in bali.

I am watching again as I booked it for June & requested that room. I already got a reply which is nice. 161 days to go. As we come end of may so we stay the entire month of June. Kayumanis restaurant going to get a workout. Those cooks want know what they are in for. 30 days and nights cooking us lunch and dinner. That place has amazing meals. Only had dinner there once and the following morning breakfast for our last day. we wanted to be on the beach as much as we could. Got there prior sun raise to watch it before they opened. Those who have gotten out of bed early to feel that sun hit your face first thing in the morning. It’s amazing to feel that morning heat. Sweat just appears straight away even after a cool morning dip to wake up. That water takes away or body aches & pains if you sit down up to your neck

Very informative and enjoyable videos Gary Ive stayed 3 times to one's in Kuta and sanur pay 30 Aussie for a room I thought it was a special rate in Kuta now I see it's going the renevated for 15 great budget hotels in Bali and non expensive
