in todays video travel vlog I visit a bali shopping tourist market called pasar seni sukawati located in sukawati, gianyar, bali, indonesia.
watch my video as I take you on a tour of this popular bali tourist shopping market which is home to 3 floors of clothes, sarongs, bags, jewelry & woodcarvings.
pasar seni sukawati is mainly a wholesale market for clothes shopping where many Indonesians frequent to purchase their supplies. many of the items found at this market you will see being sold on the streets in many of the popular tourist areas.
this is a great place to visit and all the Indonesian stall holders in this market are super friendly & welcoming and full of smiles that will brighten up your day.
you may have to bargain here if you are not comfortable with the first price offered on items that you may be interested in purchasing. keep the bargaining light hearted & friendly and pay a price that both you and the seller are happy with.
Unfortunately during my visit there were many stalls closed, I was informed this was due to a balinese ceremony taking place that many of the stall holders were attending.
I really had great fun walking around this market and was greeted with smiles and friendly people everywhere.
on the streets just outside of this market you will find many handicraft shops selling a huge array of household decorative goods including paintings, wood carvings, essential oils & soap, bags and many more items.
there are a few small warungs selling local food outside of the main market.
you will easily spend a few hours exploring the main shopping market and the streets surrounding it.
