Bali: The Balinese Keris #1 explained by keris maker I Nyoman by Hans & Fifi

Very interesting explanation about the Balinese keris by keris maker I Nyoman (nephew of the famous Empu Nyoman Punduh) in his home at Kayuamba (Kintamani, Bangli).
Unfortunately he could not show the real making, because he only makes on order and it has to be the right day in the Balinese calendar.
Anyway we enjoyed very much. And once again we like to thank I Nyoman and certainly alos his friendly family.

I chatted with a guy in Singapore yesterday morning in FB and he was super helpful. At this point I think I need to resort to a real book on the Hindu deities of Bali and lomboc area. Any book recommendations would be great!

If Corona virus doesn’t mess it up, we actually have plans to go to Bali for my spouse’s work related forestry convention! I’m so excited to go now because of my new to me Kris. I just love this thing! I’ve got a pretty cool collection of various blade weapons but this one has totally taken over as favorite! 😍🥰💜
