Thank you for your kind words! Layover in Singapore is definitely better, but the flight fares can be on a bit expensive side. Do check the fares and suggest you to choose a cheaper option. For senior citizens, i would suggest following places: Tanah Lot temple, Tirta Empul, Uluwatu temple (including fire dance), Jatiluwi Rice Terraces (instead of Tegalalang Rice terrances), GWK park, Ubud market, Monkey Forest, Kintamani and Pandawa Beach. Please note that the waterfalls usually demand 100-200 steps of climbing up & down. If you cannot walk then you may skip waterfalls.

We will do it.. may be in future. I would suggest you to slowly adapt to nasi goreng and mi goreng - they will prepare veg version of them... carry some mtr ready to eat food.. try bollywood restaurant in ubud.. queen tandoor is also there in most of the locations

Malaysia you will get free exit and visit places if your flight transit time is more than 6 hours .

No Midhun, you can't enter Malaysia without an evisa. Moreover, the airport is situated quite far from the places that are worth seeing in Malysia (especially Kualalampur), not useful even if you apply for evisa as you can't see anything within 6 hours.
