Hi again Karina, can I ask would you find it a better stay in Pererenan than Seminyak. We stayed at Desa Hay last April but Pererenan has so many more rest and shops now we found Desa Hay too far away from everything last year. So this year I booked 2 nights right in Canguu near Yuki and 3 nights at Alila Seminyak. I’m thinking I should have booked 3 nights in Pererenan. I can still cancel one of the bookings. Would love to hear your thoughts on Seminyak and Pererenan. Ideally I should not have booked the Canggu accommodation and booked Pererenan but I can’t cancel that booking they do t take cancellations.

hi there! i think you’re good… yuki is near batu bolong beach area and that area is convenient in my opinion! also i love pererenan area, so maybe you could check out the shore amora / further hotel in pererenan area as there are many shops and cafes around there. I would also highly recommend you download the gojek/grab app as it is better to commute with bike… or else you’ll be stuck in traffic…bali traffic is insane haha

Thank you. ATM I only booked 2 nights Canggu. I’m thinking maybe cancel Alila Seminyak to stay in Pererenan. Do you like the Seminyak area. It used to be great but not sure for all the good shops and restaurants if Seminyak is any good anymore?

@@samtucker766 agree that canggu area have better options for shops and restaurant for now 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 i love Alila Seminyak, haven’t got a chance to stay at the hotel yet but i like to chill at the beach bar or seasalt for sunset. Maybe spend 1-2 nights in Alila is enough :)

I think I might make Alila 2 nights now and do 1 night in Pererenan after Canggu. Was it noisy at Further hotel with Bar Vera there and scooters passing on the road?
