I have always drunk the water from condos in KLCC and never had any issues. When you go online to check the official sites do say the water is ok, except for some older ares

Oh! Straight from the tap? We hardly hear many Malaysians do this, usually a filter is a must! Or some would boil their water first.

@@steveandnadia yeah, when I said that to a staff member who lives there she was quite shocked! But I am generally there for about 4 weeks at a time and haven’t gotten sick, so….. I would note that I would NOT drink direct from the tap in areas with older infrastructure.

@@steveandnadia Most Malaysians will only drink boiled or filtered water because it is a habit. However, you can directly drink tap water and it is 100% safe and exceeds the level set by WHO.

Hi @ochezburgess It really does depend what type of lifestyle you prefer. We both like KL & Bali for different reasons & both have their super good qualities & things we wish the other had, but that's how it goes. Medical system, I (Steve) have had a few surgeries in KL & can vouch to say KL has access to it all really. Researching and having a good look into the current political climate of the countries you're considering to move to is a good idea to see if it's a good fit for you.

Ooff! This is a hard one to answer because it all depends on which industry you're in and work experience. But it mainly depends on how you get employed or recruited by the company.

Is it safe in KL ? What about Politics ? Is the government politically stable ?

We consider KL quite safe. Some areas might be a better than others, like every city. We lived in the Bangsar area which was nice. Researching and having a good look into the current climate of a country is a good idea.
