Sharing my personal experience
As an OFW now a ROF ( Returning Filipino Worker) due to the continous unemployment abroad, yes I am a non-essential worker. Original flight was 10th July na-move to the earliest 7th July, Its was a very smooth flight, good weather plus we arrived in Manila at the right time, gutom lng coz ndi ngpprovide ang airline ng inflight meal but its ok. We have biscuits and bottle of water provided. Were almost home.
Arrived at NAIA 12nn, I already saw airport staff in full PPE and PCG ( Philippine Coast Guard) na mag assist na, leading us from point A to B. PCG is in control💪🏼 well done. Its not as chaotic knowing na mdaming papauwi, one flight at a time lng ang lapag so ndi nag kakagulo( kya pla madaming ncancel n flights). Good this is that nabbigyan ng assistance and lahat.
Briefing, Issuance of Barcodes, Queuing sa testing booth, Swabbing, Immigration, sobrang bilis at ndi confusing kc mdaming PCG na nag-asssist. Ndi ko napansin “ayun n nb yun? Finish na? 😅
So after Immigration, we took our baggage. Pila ulit sa OWWA to check our details pra sa quarantinne facility, they gave us food pack then drecho sa Bus to lead us sa hotel. Again may PCG pa din s labas😀.
Eto n yung waiting game hahahah! More or less 200 kme cguro s plane hintayan s loob ng bus s labas ng airport, dming comment “bkit d kme mauna s hotel since we came out first”. Well its part of the process hintayan tlga.
On our journey s hotel, waiting pa din s labas kse one bus at a time lng pde muna pmsok. Finally our turn, dont worry s mga bagahe khit mauna cla pmsok s loob. Checkin time. They have provided envelop with Room no, they will ask if u have any food allergies, wifi passcode, and read whats inside the envelope very important and its done. Its almost 5pm.
Here we are at Sofitel, ramdam ko na pagod at gutom. City side one the left view, Manila Bay at the right. Three times a day ang meal. ALL FREE. OWWA have personel in the hotel and will asssit if you have anything you want to buy outside. After two days the result was out, the day after We received an email from Redcross that the test has been verified with attached certificate. Its check out time😄. Inform OWWA na may ssusundo, then wait for PCG outside your room, show your passport and the email from redcross on your phone. All done☺️. You can print out your Certificate at home. Finally home. As an initiative I have reported my arrival to the brgy. CHO visited me at home and thats it 14 Days Home Quarantine.
