The more I look at Ellie, I am convinced that she has some corgi blood in her. Her head and large ears, seem to fit, and, of course she is a herder. The corgi is one of the oldest breeds, and, were raised and bred to herd livestock in Wales. I have seen them herd big Holstein cows and they can do the job, their short legs keep the out of the range when a cow kicks, just like a blue heeler they will also try to herd their humans if given the chance, more than once i have felt a nip on my heels if I do not walk fast enough. I hate to say it, but, Ellie is one of my favorite things about your channel.

I'll be off-line a few days, Mom's getting a new heart valve. So I was hoping to catch you before I logged off. Valley City has a summer celebration every year...Rally in the Valley! The historic society museum films the parade and I watch it. This year, there was a HUGE John Deere tractor, ran on tank treads! I was breathless for a couple of blinks...what is he farming that he needs such a beast! Also, 2 humungous tow trucks, likely could haul missile parts, or wind turbine components!---Happy to see the cutting. I'll be back mid-week.

I think your next project is to build an attachment to put on your three point Cole.. A pintle hitch on the three point and a pintle loop attachment on your round bale hauler. Save you time of hooking up and unhooking. I have seen them with like a garage spring attached to the tongue of the trailer to keep it off the ground. Just an idea to save you time when the rain is coming.

Cole--I have a rake like yours.--You can switch sides with those wheels left to righ and right to left. That will bend those teeth the back straight. Also you have to replace those broken teeth to keep from breaking the one next to it. Sooner or later you have to replace the wheels.

I loved helping my Grandpap make hay in the summer. It was the small bales that we had to heave onto the wagons on the hilly Pennsylvania hay fields. Always a little risky with the poor brakes on the old army jeep that pulled the wagon. Would head in for lunch by Grandma. I fondly remember the new potatoes and iced tea with lemon blend. Thanks for bringing back those fond memories. Ps. He raised black angus. ❤️

Excellent choice in music Bryan Cole ,ain't nothing wrong with the fragrance of nature and as far as cow's sneezing on you, when I was a kid on my uncle's farm, there was a dairy cow my uncle favourite. She was oldest in the herd, she would follow me up the road in the evening for milking, licking the back of my head.

This was an enjoyable video watching you guys bailed out here and move it back to the farm!! It sure makes a difference when you’ve got the right equipment and I couldn’t help but think about how my dad bailed hey and how hard we had to work not having the right equipment… And I know you guys are working hard to it’s not necessarily any easier it’s just different… We had the old fashion hey Baylor with the twine and we had to go along the roads and pick up the bales and throw them up on the wagon ,,,We did have an auger that would put it up into the Haymount and then we would have someone up there stacking the bales the way dad one of them which was very particular and so was my grandpa, but it was fun & an exciting time!! Just like you guys as you were coming in from the field, a true sense of accomplishment… Regardless of whether you had all that you wanted or the best crop, it was a job well done😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ I couldn’t help but admire the rack you had for those big round bales to carry all of those bales back to the farm. Boy that would’ve been handy back in the days when I was growing up and your Dad, Brian was growing up!! I’ll have to look up on the Internet how many bills you can put on that rack. You guys got a lot done in a days time and I’m real proud of you both❣️❣️ I pray you get the rain you’re needing so badly. Nobody likes to see a drought summer and hits really hard besides the heat for all of us no matter where we live. Call I’m like you I have really grown to love the rain and respect it in an entirely new way then when I was even your age!! It is just so delightful to hear the rain coming down whether it is soft and gentle or with a vengeance and w/ the wind at the same time… there is just something very powerful about rain… I guess because so much of our livelihood depends on it. You guys have a great weekend and stay cool. Thanks for the humor you provide for me and I really, really appreciate these wonderful videos you make for us all❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🌈
