Revit Beginner Tutorial: Selection in Revit

I don't really get time for YT anymore, but swing by your channel every now and then to see what you're up to - must commend you for keeping a regular schedule going, it's hard work. It would be great to see you go beyond Revit in your content more often, as it's really just one small part of how architects are working these days. Most grads can't get a job just for knowing Revit anymore, it's just assumed knowledge or they learn it on the job instead and people care more about their broader skillset. I mainly say this as I notice you're revisiting beginner topics you've made videos for already - maybe time for something different to push your channel and personal journey further?

Hi, thank you! I completely agree. This is why I'm preparing to open up an office next year and hire a small team to help me expend. This will allow me to go beyond Revit, but also beyond only KZbin. Also I hope to work with experts from different fields and create more job-specific content. My idea was to do that this year, but it turns out it's a lot more complicated to run a small office then to be just self employed. Not to mention the costs of setting up and running a small office with a few skilled people. :) In the background I'm working on setting everything up and researching how small companies like this are supposed to be operated. It's a lot of work, so I've been creating some "lazy" content lately, but I hope to bring everything to a whole new level by the end of next year! I'm sorry to see less content from you this year, but knowing that this means that you have bigger opportunities in other ventures, I'm really happy for you!

@@balkanarchitect oh wow that sounds like a great opportunity you're developing there! Look forward to hearing about it once it launches and wishing you continued success. Thanks for letting me know. I've focused more on BIM consulting and part time practice as a computational lead in a fairly large firm, although youtube really helped in growing credibility and reach to set these opportunities up. No doubt your platform will be a great launching ramp into your next ventures as well.
