Ah! Thank you! Most of the project I do, 90%, are remodel of Victorian houses. It has been very difficult to learn how to model a Victorian house since any Revit classes deals with modern Architecture. I wish I could show you the house I'm working right now. I have to start on the front elevation soon. I'll have to fake a lot of it. The fast pace of work and demands leave me little time to research and learn. Thank you for this video! Can you do one aspect of a Victorian house?

Can you please please make a glass railing tutorial? I would be thankful!!!
@donnyreisch12263 жыл бұрын
Try it as a sweep. Set your profile to the thickness and height of the glass, then sweep for the railing. Set Material to glass. I realize this is probably 3years late, but if someone else needs this they can use it too.

Amazing and efficient. By the way, in this video you did all profiles via Revit manually- in my work, all section profiles (shapes) are done in CAD, and we have library of those already. Can Revit read an import from CAD?

Hi +Balkan Architect I am having some trouble completing the railing. I have followed all of your steps precisely, however when I go to draw the railing and hit the green "check" to finish I keep getting an error message. the message reads "Can't make classical baluster" Error 1 :id316816 - I was wondering if you or anyone else could shed some light on where I could possibly be going wrong. Thanks in advance

Hey there, Its giving me an error. Would you please help mw with the error An error occurred in family "Baluster final" and was automatically resolved, but may require review by the family creator. Error Information: "Can't create surface of revolution" Error Resolution: Delete Element(s)
@nour_n_dot4 жыл бұрын
You probably had a few unconnected lines/arcs/shapes. My revolve sketch and extrusion wouldn't join like he suggested so I zoomed in and saw that the base and the shape I sketched were a fraction of an inch apart. I aligned them and it allowed me to join them.
