Why cant we place rebars in massing even when it is created from the structure template by loading model in place as "mass" instead of "columns "?? and in columns as model in place why cant we create void in the surface??

Hello. These videos are very useful that mostly answered all my questions I have (like what is the difference between a component and a mass) as a begginer level. But I would like to ask you some more questions: - In cultural heritage field I would like to model my buildg with revit. Problem is in ancient buildings thickness of a wall is not stable. Like it starts from 30 cm and goes on to 50 cm. I tried to model it by using mass option. (I think if I use component it will create a uniqe wall family which I cant use it for the other not stable walls.) Problem is when I choose "convert to mass surfaces to the wall" each surface of a wall is defined as a wall that I dont want. I mean in plan I see four walls for each side of my own wall. What do you suggest for this kinf of situation? How can use revit in survey field? - I use revit 2016 and there is no option for creating parameters from the measures for my mass and componenet. - In revit 2016 under the view option there is no structural view option. So I dublicated architectural views and changed view template as "structural frame". In this situation I cant modify "detail level" and "visual style" under the screen. Why does this happen? -In wall connections (an inside wall connects to outside wall in 90 deg. for example) we see plasters independently that they dont connect at corners. I watched another videos suggesting creating a new wall as plaster. Do you have any reccomandation for this issue? Thank you from now :)

Do you get copyright from Autodesk for using there software. Or Autodesk allow you if you are using it for tutorial purpose.

Last time I was at one of Autodesk offices they were quite excited about what I'm doing. I haven't heard of anyone having copyright issues for software tutorials. I only heard that a few gaming companies have issues with gameplay videos on youtube.

So much incorrect mumbo jumbo and wrong methods. Dont let this balkan person teach you Revit. F.ex. you should never make a void in the wall category just to cut a wall, since it f.ex. will show up in your wall schedule which you dont want. And you dont need to have it in the wall category to cut a wall like he states. Generic works just as well.
