I think honestly Balkan is just a Revit angel sent to us . Man,,,, you have no idea how much we are grateful to you, so thanking words are not truly enough, not only for this tutorial , but for all of them.

It's nice to see that Autodesk maintained similar shortcuts to Autocad. That said, I found that double clicking the middle mouse button still acts as a Zoom all in Revit, just as it does in Revit. Nice.

TRIM/EXTEND SINGLE ELEMENT (TE) ... TRIM/EXTEND MULTIPLE ELEMENTS (TT) ... I often use that commands on my Structural, that's the keyboard shortcut I made since it has no default shortcut... aside from using TRIM/EXTEND TO CORNER (TR)... Thank you Sir Balkan Architect... I've learned two commands from you... the BX and CTRL + LEFT ARROW...

Let me give you guys an awesome shortcut trick that I adopted form gaming. In the properties, you can assign keys to the tools you use most. So what I did is I set up shortcuts for my favourite tools in the Q-R/Z-C key area, like most controls in games. In games you usually move the character with "WASD", because you do not have to lift your hand and everything is within you reach. In Revit, hit two keys in a row and it enables your tool. You can use the same keys in different order to get different tools - for instance AB for copy, BA for move, if you want. Part of my setup looks like this: AA - Rotate SS - Move DD - Copy FF - Align QQ - Text WW - Spot elevation EE - Dimensions RR - Tag by, etc. Then I go Up/Down - Down/Up with the same keys: QA - Trim to Corner WS - Trim single ED - Trim multiple AQ - Create similar SW - Hide category DE - Hide element etc. Choose your own setup, assign the keys, print your keys and put it in front of you. Once you get used to it, you can get in a such and amazing flow, never looking down on you're keyboard - just like in a game. :) Good luck.

Agreed! I am surprised more people don't see how inefficient it is to bring the right hand back and forth between the mouse and computer! Here are the ones I have been using for years that make more intuitive sense. Rotate = RR, Copy = CC, Split = SS, Create Similar = CS, Text = TX, Tag = TG, 3D View = 3D, Scale = 12, Trim = TR, Edit Witness Lines = EW, Component = CD, Edit Group = EG, Delete = DD, Select all same Elements = CTRL A, Extend = EX, Section = SE, Ceiling = CE, Rectangle = RE, Circle = CR, Edit Type = ET, Edit Family = EF, Align = AT, Move = Q, Dimension = AD, Esc. = FF, Mirror = DF, Toggle Thin/thick = TW, Finish = WW, Wall = WA, Door = DR, Line = FD, Hide Element = EE and tons more!!!!!!!!! So fun to learn and its easier if you make them easy to remember and easy to use.
