Balkans Road Trip: Driving the Croatian Coastline

We make our way into Croatia, but first a stop in Stanjel is in order. We check out the Ferrari Gardens and then hit our first stop in Croatia: Rijeka. After some R&R there, we go on a beautiful drive down the coast to Zadar.

Love to see your video. How much is the price per day to rent a small car for a Balkans road trip? Is it very costly if the pick and drop location is different?

Well it would really depend on where you pick it up and who you rent with, but for my rental with the taxes and border crossing fees and everything else, it was around 30 euros a day. I also had an automatic transmission which costs more than if you rented a manual. I considered a one-way rental but it would have added at least a few hundred extra euros to the cost!
