Hi Mark, Two teams perform at the same time as you can see. It just adds a fun element as both teams compete playing next to each other... The briefing goes like this 1) Each basket has a score. Two persons will be holding the twigs from both ends in such a way that a simple tennis ball can roll over it ( it takes a bit or practice though ) 2) As you can see, the team has to position themselves in such a way that their twigs dont clash while they are playing.

Hi @punnusharma7777, Thank your for such a wonderful activity. could you please give highlights on what questions we could ask participants once activity over to get outcomes and learning.

This looks more fun and great things to do. It looks like someone has to get the ropes to make the ball go through. Does look more interested too.

Hi Mark, This exercise demonstrates to work in sub-teams inside a team and how to focus on your work irrespective of what is going around you. Also, as competition takes place with both opponent teams very close to each other , the team who keeps its nerves and do not panic eventually turns out to be a winner. Its all about collaboration within the team and working smartly even under pressure. So all this can be few of the take away points from this event.

Great variation of the commonly used Object Retrieval, or Pipeline - similar premise with simple, possibly even easier props to cart around. Question - what is the briefing of this exercise? How is it framed / set-up? Would love to see this posted...

Hi, 12 - 15 feet should be a good distance between the pairs and the length of the twines should be the same as well. Markings are done on the playing area at the starting of the game and twines are placed at the ground. Players cannot cross that marked line and is considered as a fault.

Thanks so much, it really looks like fun. By the way, how many balls do you give per team and how many pieces of ropes per team? What is the optimum number per team. Thank you for sharing this Punnu.

hi, is there any recommended length to cut the twines and maybe how far apart the pair should stand?
@PunnuSharma777711 жыл бұрын
3 ) the game goes on for 10 mins and people have to drop the tennis balls in the baskets via twigs. 4) Each basket has a score. The farthest you drop the ball the more you score. For example 10, 20, 50, 100 are the scores on baskets between two players. 100 is the score for the farthest basket from the player who starts rolling the ball from his end. 5) There are refrees who keep an eye on the score and proceedings. 6) Team with maximum score wins. Its great fun and I hope its clear now.

How many people are required to take part in the activity?
@PunnuSharma777711 жыл бұрын
Hi Amita, Its not fixed , minimum number should be equal to number of pairs in the team. But its good if you give 3-4 extra balls per team. Ropes/twines should be equal to number of pairs. Make sure you don't make too many pairs because then it will be too difficult to manage the twines from colliding with each other. we had around 8 pairs per team. I guess more than that will kill the fun :)

And honestly , we dint frame it before playing and it was just a part of various fun activities which we had in our team outing. We didn't had any co-coordinator and all the activities were created and managed by the team mates itself. But I guess , this activity can be framed based on the take away points which I mentioned above. Also, all the rules I have already explained in the first comment below the video. Please let me know if you need more information

Yes, Those are just twines. The farthest basket has the maximum points and the closest one has the minimum points. Two people holding the Rope can decide where they want to drop the ball. It was a good fun :-)

Whats the suitable string to use in this game?
@PunnuSharma77777 жыл бұрын
Thin rope twines can be used so that the players can manage them to create the tension ( for sliding of ball ) and to release the tension ( to drop the ball in bucket below)
