Ball Park Music coincided their first concerts outside of their home city of Brisbane in two years with the release of their seventh studio album, “Weirder & Weirder”. However, it wasn’t only “Weirder & Weirder”s live debut, their previous self titled album had also been released since their last national tour, so there was a lot of catching up to do. The Unibar was packed with a noisy but very appreciative audience. Their support crew thoroughly deserved the thanks frontman Sam Cromack gave them during the show; sound and lighting were excellent. And the band themselves were in top form, very obviously enjoying playing their new music (and classics) live. It was a long set but I only recorded four songs:
Stars in my Eyes (00:30)
Pariah (04:31)
Cherub (14:28)
The Present Moment (20:32 )
I would have liked to have captured a few more songs but I think you can see from these four what a terrific performance it was.
