The Airplane's finest live performance captured on tape, no argument. Absolutely magnificent.

Certainly the greatest version of this song ever recorded. The singers are in great form and Jorma, Jack and Spencer are on fire.

Still one of the best there ever was, with three good singers fronting 3 superb musicians. Just watch Jack give you a lesson in how to play bass, so it can be a lead instrument.

if you been to a Airplane concert you knew they would do their thing and get everyone along for the ride.

I dunno. Somehow 55 years ago or whenever it was, it made absolute sense. There was no doubt about what Slick was singing or the band behind her playing.

I remember this on PBS and was impressed by Jack. But I found him to be much better in Tuna.

Have you ever seen Paul Kantner without a cigarette? The man was a chain smoker. I saw Jefferson Starship in 1975 and he lit one after another.

What a band! Is there anyone out there now who will/could make this level of music? No.

Probably not. Trouble is that today there's no longer any LSD25. Other numbers sure, I've tried a couple, but 25 disappeared with Sandoz and then with Owsley. I was fortunate enough to have had one of each. I don't know what the strengths were. The Sandoz was a white tab; I think strength was 100 micrograms. I had several Owsleys. I think the strongest was a purple cap said to be 250 micrograms. From the little I can remember, it could well have been that strength.
