The Carnegie Hall line-up - The best lineup of all time... - What a legacy - to be part of this line up from 85 to 90 taking over the drum chair for Phil Madayag was a blessing . Phil was second to none, a great drummer and also one of the nieces drummers I know, those were some big shoes to follow too, thank you Phil for laying down the foundation. But most of all I want to thank Rudy and Steve for their dedication and their contribution to Chicano culture, the music the Pride of East Los. A legacy that will live forever in our hearts, La Gente de East Los. .. RIP Rudy Salas & Steve Falomir - You are truly missed, love you all... Sal Rodriguez...

I don't think Terria gets the recognition it should. This band is an honor to our Latin heritage, a pride of our people. They can still count on me a avid fan.

Even though New Mexico always gets forgotten we absolutely loved Tierra, Malo and El Chicano. I will never forget when I saw Tierra in Albq and the show they put on especially with the Zoot suit song was absolutely awesome. I was just a teenager the n and I never forgot that. Sure does bring back so many memories.

I saw Tower of Power OPEN for TIERRA at the Greek Theater LA, during this magic era. Loved this band beyond belief. Made LA so proud. These guys were the REAL DEAL in their hey-day. Rudy kicked some tail too on guitar & vocals. Wish we could go back. Every player in their band over the years was a Monster. TIERRA... THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.

I'd like to thank you for posting this. I have been looking for this footage for years. My father and I had stayed up late many nights watching this video which he caught the night it was playing and recorded it on his VHS. Well the tape was lost after my father passed and I have been searching, even emailing the the band but no response. So thank you again! This means so much to me! :) Do you know what year this was from?
