It's very difficult to describe. Basically, you have to hold two keys at a time: the direction the ball is moving, and the direction that the rails are in. The problem with the spiral, though, is that you need to change keys every second or so. Going clockwise (as shown here): you have to press [up+left], [right+up], [down+right], [left+down]. Keep repeating that sequence until you reach the bottom. Be careful: the further you get along, the faster you have to change!

@@speedystoneball I am BoulderDasherRAgsten, I've just compressed the handle since then. Fun fact, I'm actually a 0.125X player, as that's much more chill, but I had to compress the videos to fit KZbin's length requirements at the time they were released.

@@speedystoneball I was just joking about that - didn't even know it was possible actually. Sadly, I haven't played for quite some time now (maybe 8+ years), but I still boot up Switchball occasionally on my PS3.

@@BoulderDasherRA I stopped playing Ballance in 2018 due to a bug I couldn’t fix... and returned this month when I found the Ballance subreddit and discord server, which had the fix.

The earth should be littered with boxes and balls by now, mainly due to how many things have been pushed off the edges. Although this is a game so they probably just disappear between levels. But I was specifically referring to the idea that this is a real world reference, if that makes any sense.

to pass the spiral from the beginning you must press in order all the arrows not very fast, not very slowly. up, right, down, left, up, right, down, left... i unnistalled the game 2 times before doing this thing accidentaly and pass the spiral XD

This is the level where I end up giving up and uninstalling the game. I have played through this game a number of times over the years and this is the level I can never get past. I always misjudge the distance to the fans and constantly fall. I find that after playing it for a few minutes my palms are sweating and I have terrible vertigo, I wish there was some way to put an artificial floor below the walkways.

This level ain’t that hard for me. Once you get past the first section, all easy puzzles. Level 8 is WAY harder imo

@raikoonen77 Honestly, I didn't find it to be difficult either. I think what gives some people trouble is just finding the sweet spots of where to change directions, and then letting it flow naturally under the hand.

I was able to get the spiral first time. Once I switched to playing double-speed ball, I don’t have to worry about the spiral - I can just dodge the stone transformer.
