Dang, that is crazy how I can name all the top women drafted in the WNBA this year unlike past years. I’m all for it. I started paying attention to the W last season when a coworker told me he had better luck betting on WNBA games than any other sport. That blew me away. I also caught women’s college basketball fever like everyone else as well. I’m definitely looking forward to this upcoming season with all this star power.😮

But if you know just basic info about teams, you'd know that Minnesota still had their MVP candidate ( Napheesa Collier ) still playing. A guy online bet $1K on that game alone, and doubled his money. Minnesota won by 13.

I think ppl forget LSU didn't have the depth this season or a strong point guard. If Flau was guarding Caitlin, she may not have been able to do more offensively and get those blocks, steals and assists like she normally does. The only person in my opinion who successfully guarded Caitlin (this season), by themselves was Nika Muhl, she had the energy and the formula, whereas South Carolina had great depth and were able to change out multiple girls on Caitlin so they were fresh (though Raven did a good job with her minutes).

Good interview. I have been following the W since it’s inception. The money is truly not as big of a deal as discussed. The W consists of 40 games and the NBA is 80+. Another difference is the W is only 27 years young and the NBA is 77 years old. The average salary for an NBA player in 1971 or 1972, 26 or 27 years after it’s inception, was $90,000 (which equates to $500,00 today). So, it isn’t that much of a difference. Also, they have a G league and the W doesn’t have a league that helps with their development. Lastly, of the 12 teams, less than 3 made a profit last season. So, until the W gets more partnerships, turn profits and need less from the NBA for funding, it is what it is. I think Clark made the right decision. Cube may have offered millions to her….but I would venture to say she would have made more for him as opposed to what she would have gotten.
